Silkwing Music

Allison King, soprano, has had a varied career with over 30 years of experience in teaching and performing.  A versatile artist, she has studied many techniques, with an emphasis on classical and operatic styles. Equally at home in opera, musical theatre, cabaret, or the recording studio, Ms. King has been seen on concert and theatre stages across the west, and has performed at dozens of weddings and memorial services. She is available as a soloist, vocal coach, and workshop leader.  Ms. King was formerly the Music Director at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Washington County in Hillsboro, Oregon, and was the vocal and choral instructor at Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus for three years. Ms. King is also a choral composer, focusing on music that reflects the liberal religious tradition of Unitarian Universalism.​
